Fukashino Residents' Association Neighborhood Bulletin

Month of May (Satsuki), Reiwa 7-1 – April 26, Reiwa 7 (2025)

A month has already passed in the new fiscal year. We will continue to share brief updates on Residentsf Association activities through this Neighborhood Bulletin. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

1.    The general meeting of the Neighborhood Section for Reiwa 7 was held on Sunday, April 6, at 10:00 a.m. in the plaza in front of the East Community Center, attended by the new neighborhood leaders (on duty this year). We confirmed the assignments regarding distribution of Himeji City newsletters, collection of association and fire prevention fees, Red Cross donations, Red Feather year-end charity donations, bulky waste duty, and participation in the Wednesday child safety patrol (around 2:30 p.m. at school dismissal time).
We look forward to everyonefs support over the coming year.

2.    As usual, the Red Cross donation campaign will take place from Sunday, April 27, to Friday, May 23. Neighborhood leaders will collect 500 yen per household. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Neighborhood leaders, please bring the collected donations to the Central Community Center during the newsletter distribution days on Saturday, May 24, or Sunday, May 25.

3.    As in past years, on Friday, April 25, from 8:30 a.m., five locations (Otoshi Shrine [East], Gosha Shrine, Myoken Shrine [West], Dainichi, and the triangular park in the South District) had their cherry trees sprayed by the Himeji City Environmental Beautification Department.
Although there may be concern about caterpillars after the blossoms, this treatment should prevent issues.

4.    The Agricultural Division will carry out cleaning of the agricultural water channels.
Landowners are asked to participate at the designated locations, which will be communicated by the respective coordinators.
(1) Sunday, May 11, from 8:00 a.m. — gHonden ditchh

5.    Road resurfacing work will take place in the southern area of Fukashino (west of Kamai Sports) from Wednesday, May 7, to Friday, May 30, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be restricted during this time, so please follow on-site instructions and proceed with caution.

6.    The accounting audit for FY2024 (Reiwa 6) was conducted on Thursday, April 17, at the Central Community Center. It will be reported to all members via the gAssociation Fee Settlement Reporth following approval at the Coordinators' Meeting on Saturday, May 10.

7.    On Tuesday, May 20, at the Fukashino East Community Center, a gSenior Club Nagomih event will be held. Starting from 10:00 a.m., we will enjoy music through brain training games and other activities. We hope many of you will join us.

8.    The first Representative Meeting of Various Groups for Reiwa 7 will be held on Sunday, May 25, from 7:30 p.m. at the Central Community Center. We ask all relevant parties to attend.

9.    Our Deepest Condolences

  1. Bulky waste collection days in May are Saturday the 10th and Monday the 26th. Duty falls on Neighborhood 19-1, with Ms. Yukiko Toyoda as the neighborhood leader. For the South and Terayama districts, please follow the designated schedules.
Note: Starting April, bulky waste hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m.
For Februaryfs bulky waste collection, the income from aluminum cans (30kg) was 4,500 yen, and from cardboard, newspapers, and magazines (447kg) was 2,235 yen. Thank you for your cooperation.
Reminder: Monthly aluminum cans and old newspapers/magazines generate income for the association, so continued cooperation is appreciated.
