Warm days have been continuing, but the sudden cold may
affect your health, so please take care.
How is everyone doing? This month, we bring you various updates, so please stay
informed.
1. Thank You for Your Support for the Annual
gRed Feather Community Fundraising Campaignh
We appreciate the cooperation of everyone in the
neighborhood. Special thanks to the neighborhood leaders who helped collect the
funds.
The donations will be delivered to Himeji City through the Mikunino District
Federation of Neighborhood Associations (Chairman Yoshinobu Inouchi).
2. Citywide Cleanup Scheduled for December 1
(Sunday) at 8 AM
As announced in the previous Rinpo
Newsletter, please clean around your home and nearby ditches.
Simultaneously, various groups and volunteers will clean areas such as
Higashi-no-Miya, Omoide River, Bantan
Expressway side ditches, and parks.
Trash from each household should be placed in the distributed yellow bags and
left in visible locations (like garbage collection sites). The Neighborhood
Association staff will collect them.
3. Tondo Festival Schedule
As in previous years, the Tondo Festival will be held on
the following dates:
The event will take place at the Tondo field north of
Gosha-no-Miya Shrine.
4. End-of-Year gBamboo Lanternh Donations at Otoshigami Shrine (Higashi-no-Miya)
With the cooperation of the Fukashino Friendship Society,
bamboo lanterns will be available for dedication at 500 yen each.
Applications will be accepted on December 22 (Sunday), 9 AM–3 PM at the
Higashi Community Hall (within Otoshii Shrine).
Additionally, the 2025 (Reiwa 7) Fukashino Festival Calendar will be
sold for 1,000 yen.
The lanterns will be lit on December 31 (Tuesday) from 8 PM.
5. Disaster Drill Report from November 3
(Sunday)
The Mikunino District Federation of Neighborhood
Associations hosted a disaster drill at Ninomaru Park
of the Castle Ruins.
The drill simulated a magnitude 7 earthquake, with about 150 participants from
various districts.
Activities included smoke simulations, AED usage practice, and a disaster goods
display.
These drills help residents prepare for actual disasters, so please join next
time!
6. Flower Replacement at the Central and
Eastern Community Centers
The semi-annual flower replacement will take place on December
6 (Friday).
This time, pansies will be planted.
7. Annual West Shrine Cleanup on January 19
(Sunday)
The annual cleanup of Nishinomiya Shrine will begin at 8
AM on January 19 (Sunday).
Each household should send one participant.
Pre-cleanup work, including weeding on the east and west slopes of Nishinomiya,
will be carried out by the association officers on November 24 (Sunday)
and December 15 (Sunday).
8. December Bulky Waste Collection
Bulky waste collection will take place on December 6
(Friday) and December 20 (Friday).
The responsible group is Rinpo 42-2 (Neighborhood
Leader: Mr. Yuichi Suzuki).
For the South and Terayama areas, follow the
designated schedule.
Winter Hours: From October, collection times are 6:30–8:00 AM. Please
adhere strictly to these times.
September Revenue:
Your contributions help generate revenue for the
association, so please continue your cooperation.
