The weather has been continuously hot this year, but it
is starting to become more comfortable. Please be mindful of the temperature
changes to avoid falling ill.
Thank you to the neighborhood leaders for collecting the residents' association
fees for the first half term..
How is everyone doing? We will be providing various information this month as
well, so we look forward to your cooperation.
- The annual "Red Feather Fundraising" will be collected by
the neighborhood leaders from Monday, October 28th to Friday, November
22nd. We appreciate your cooperation.
- As mentioned in last month's neighborhood news, this year's festival
will be held as follows:
(1) October 12th (Saturday) – Eve Festival
- 9:00 AM: Shinto ceremony and lion dance dedication at Otoshi Shrine (East Shrine)
- 12:00 PM: Start of the parade and lion dance dedication at Gosha
Shrine and Myoken Shrine (West Shrine)
(2) October 13th (Sunday) – Main Festival
- 8:30 AM: Lion dance dedication at Otoshi
Shrine (East Shrine)
- 9:45 AM: Start of the parade and lion dance dedication at Myoken Shrine (West Shrine) and Gosha Shrine
*Note: A rehearsal for the parade of the portable shrine will
take place on Sunday, October 6th at 2:00 PM. Those participating in the
festival should gather at Otoshi Shrine (East
Shrine).
*For those who wish to perform a mourning purification, the Shinto ceremony
will take place on Saturday, October 12th at 8:30 AM during the eve festival.
Please come to the front of the East Community Hall in advance.
- To the landowners who participated in the repair of the Honden and Hatakeda farm
roads on Sunday, September 1st at 8:00 AM, thank you for your hard work.
Thanks to your efforts, the rice harvesting went smoothly.
- On Friday, September 13th at 8:30 AM, the Himeji City Environmental
Beautification team performed pest control on the cherry trees at five
locations (Otoshi Shrine (East Shrine), Gosha
Shrine, Myoken Shrine (West Shrine), Dainichi,
and Minami Sankaku Park).
- The "Mikunino School District Respect for the Elderly
Gathering," hosted by the Mikunino District Joint Residents’
Association, was held on Sunday, September 15th. Around 230 people from
each district participated, and the event was a great success with various
stage performances and karaoke. Thank you to all who attended.
- The Senior Club’s "Nagomi House of Rest" will only be held
on Tuesday, October 22nd next month, so please make a note of this.
- A disaster drill for the Mikunino District, hosted by the Mikunino
District Joint Residents’ Association, will take place on Sunday, November
3rd from 9:00 AM at the Gotaku Castle Ninomaru ruins. Last year, it was held at Otoshi Shrine (East Shrine) square and the East
Community Hall in the Fukashino area. Please participate in large numbers
to experience and learn about disaster preparedness.
- The collection dates for bulky waste in October are Monday, the 7th,
and Wednesday, the 23rd. The duty for this month falls on Neighborhood 41
(the neighborhood leader is Yukio Nishimoto).
For the southern and tera districts, please follow the designated
schedule.
*Note: From October, the collection time is from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM.
Please do not put out waste outside of these hours.
Additionally, in July’s bulky waste collection, there was income from 40
kg of aluminum cans (6,800 yen) and 790 kg of cardboard, newspapers, and
magazines (3,950 yen).
*The proceeds from the collection of aluminum cans, old newspapers, and
magazines each month are contributed to the residents' association. We
appreciate your continued cooperation.
